 Aug 3 RRCA National 5K Championship Recap
Over 1000 runners stormed the streets of Anniston, Alabama on Saturday August 1st to participate in the Woodstock 5K, the RRCA National 5K Championship race, hosted by the Anniston Runners Club. Runners took off under overcast skies. It was humid, but temperatures were cooler than normal for this time of year.Two North Carolinians won in the men's and women's divisions. Ryan Woods of Boone, N.C., took the top spot in the men's division with a time of 14:48, while Stephanie Pezzullo of Indian Trails, N.C., won the women's with a time of 17:35.
