RRCA Welcomes New South Carolina State Rep

Ken Sturm has been appointed as the South Carolina State Rep by Southern Region Director Lena Hollmann. Sturm is a member of the Greenville Track Club. For the past two years he has served as the Greenville Track Club’s Corporate Shield director.

Ken graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He is certified as a RRCA Distance Running Coach as well as a National Strength and Conditioning Association Personal Trainer. Ken works as an exercise specialist and distance running coach for the Greenville Hospital System.

Ken’s running focus is on ultras, having completed a 50k and with plans of running a 50 miler in 2009. He also enjoys the shorter stuff, competing in everything from 2 milers to ½ marathons on a regular basis. He is accompanied to most of his races by his wife and two boys, who serve as his personal cheering section for road races and as his crew for ultras!
