Just include a friendly explanation of what the due date for the bill is. Large corporations may have several layers of bureaucracy that invoices have to go through in order to get paid. Getting an early start probably will mean that your check arrives when it is supposed to. On the other hand, sending a bill on the date you want the money may produce a cash flow crunch when the check doesn’t arrive until six weeks later.Race Director’s Tips courtesy of Phil Stewart, Road Race Management. ROAD RACE MANAGEMENT LAUNCHES RACE DIRECTORS FORUM Road Race Management has launched a Race Directors' forum at its website: http://www.rrm.com/forum. "We believe the RRM Forum can be an important addition to the race directing community and a long overdue means to encourage dialogue among event organizers, sponsors, vendors, and others integral to the sport," said Road Race Management editor and publisher, Phil Stewart. "While there are venues where we meet, and, as individuals, we engage each other from time to time as 'hot issues' arise or ongoing issues perplex us, we hope this forum will become a very useful additional educational tool in the arsenal of race organizers," he added. |
